PROFILE and TRAINING

Sherry Marshall (BSc. Sociology/Social Admin; Masters Social Work; Masters Social Ecology, Process Oriented Psychology) is an experienced and highly qualified registered Mental Health Social Worker, with a Masters in Social Work and is a qualified Process Oriented Therapist as well as a qualified Family and Relationships Therapist. She has worked in England and Australia for over 25 years. She was Director of the Staff Counselling Department at Royal North Shore for 7 years and has maintained a private practice in Sydney City and Manly for 20 years.
She is also a consultant for a large Employee Assistance programme in Sydney and has supervised and facilitated groups for Motor Neurone Association, a private Addictions hospital in Sydney and non profit charity organisations.
She is a fully accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with additional certification as a Mental Health Social Worker.
She is also a fully accredited member of the Australian and New Zealand Process Oriented Psychology Association (ANZPOP) Both organisations have clear codes of ethical conduct and training requirements which are part of her therapy principles and practice.
Sherry specializes, using Process Psychology and Cognitive Therapy in:
Relationships Therapy and Marriage Counselling,
Family Problems, Divorce Advice, Communication Skills, Free information, Transforming Emotions, Grief and Bereavement, Cognitive Therapy, Coaching, Eating Disorders, Working with Dreams, Career Counselling, Stress Management and Meditation.
She has been actively involved in Tibetan Buddhism for over 20 years and has helped and worked for His Holiness, The Dalai Lama since 1996. She enjoys travelling and is a writer and published author on Tibetan Buddhism.
